Your email:   I’ve been doing some work on the blog. Let me know if you like this new design.  I’m not terribly attached to it so I can change it if enough people don’t like such dark colors. If you have any problems using the new features, please let me know so that I can fix them.  If there are features you think I should have that are not here, please let me know that too! Give me some feedback by using the comments button. Thanks so much! PS Love  Read More →

We realised today that we haven’t done a post about The Kings Arms.  Lynton and Paul (ex advertising creatives from TBWA) set up their new agency a couple of months ago.  They share our office space and we work together on stuff when the opportunity arises.  As we’ve said to them many times, we think The Kings Arms is a brilliant name for an agency – distinctive, memorable, less ordinary.  We really hope that one day their office is a converted old pub serving... [more]

at the dentist again I went to the dentist to get that torture done today. You may send sympathy floral bouquets and cards to: PS Love 6255 McLeod Drive, Suite 15 Las Vegas, NV  89120 It was rough.  Real rough at times.  The drilling noise!  The burning hair smell.  Ugh. The Dentist was great, I have no complaints about him or the people in his office.  He never hurt me once. It is me.  I am very afraid of all this newfangled crap they have these days.  The air hose is the WORST.  And... [more]

I have taken the Vegas Mob Tour before and really enjoyed myself! I have just heard a verified rumor that this coming Monday night there are going to be some surprises!  I can’t tell you the surprise because, well, I don’t know what it is exactly, but I can guess.   I do know there will be a big surprise guest that particular night. The other fun part is that renowned Stripper, Tempest Storm, will be involved with the tour on Monday night, April 28th, 2008.  Johnny Seaton will also... [more]

Class of ‘09 is now closed for entries. Thank you to everyone who applied. If you’re reading this and you haven’t applied, I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait until the next Class. I don’t know when that will be. We’ll begin looking at all the work this week, and get back to everyone as soon as we’ve made a decision. There’s a lot to look at and we’re pretty busy at the moment, so please  bear with us. Thanks. Tags: Class of 09, closed  Read More →

So I finished this book a couple of days ago. It was an easy read. It is written in such a way that you feel like you ran into someone at a party and you sit down and listen to the fascinating story he has. The book has a nice, easy going style that keeps you wondering about more. There are a lot of characters here, too many for me to keep straight. Dennis Griffin does a great job though with repeating some information with the names so those with poor retention like me can keep up with the story.... [more]

Here’s another book we’ve done.  Thanks to Serif for posting about it the other day.  We thought we’d write a few words about it.  Basically it’s the habit of sportswear manufacturers to create descriptors to describe the technology that goes into their gear. The technologies are given names like technofit, hydroblast, microsplodge etc. Truth is, it’s all a load of mumbo-jumbo most of the time and no-one in the stores has a clue what each bit of gizmo... [more]

There was a time when adbusting consisted of lagered-up students creeping out under cover of darkness with a spray can and a witty thought. Not so in 21st Century Leeds. These design-conscious guerrillas have gone to the trouble of creating a stencil for their graffiti to match Matalan’s typeface. I believe it’s Avant Garde. Posted by Simon Griffin  Read More →
